Jennifer “Jen” Clark was born and raised in Kenner, Louisiana. She graduated from Mount Carmel Academy High School, where she helped lead the Cubs to their first ever state championship title in basketball in 2014. She then went on to attend Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences and continued her athletic career as a 4 year starter for the women’s basketball team, as well as joined the women’s  softball team her senior year. She was elected a captain of the basketball team her sophomore and held this title for her junior and senior seasons. She is known as a leader on and off the court. She was selected by her coach to represent the team on the Student-Athletic Advisory Committee to help advocate for the needs of student athletes. She helped organize volunteer opportunities to stay involved in the Mobile community. She currently holds two collegiate records for the Spring Hill Women’s basketball team.  
 
After graduating from Spring Hill in May of 2018, she moved back to New Orleans and worked as a medical assistant at the Hand Center of Louisiana until she was accepted into PA school. In August 2020, she moved to Birmingham, Alabama to attend Samford University’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program. She was elected Treasurer for the class of 2022. Being an athlete herself, she was always interested in orthopedics, and it is her goal to help patients get back to a healthier lifestyle. She completed research focusing on athletes with ACL reconstructions and underwent elective training in Orthopedics at Andrew’s Institute of Sports Medicine, Southlake Orthopedics, and Crescent City Orthopedics to gain more experience.  
 
Jen moved back to her hometown to start her career as a Physician Assistant. She is nationally certified and licensed in the state of Louisiana. She started working at Crescent City Orthopedics in January of 2023 and is eager to get her career started and bring patients the best possible care.
