Jesse Cohen, P.T., D.P.T., grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate in neuroscience from Tulane University before traveling abroad extensively with a focus on international humanitarian aid work. During his travels, he completed formal courses of study in yoga and permaculture design. Jesse was exposed to physical therapy as a home health aide, where he was inspired by the long-form therapeutic alliance that PT fosters.

Jesse graduated from The University of New Mexico’s physical therapy program in Albuquerque. He received his doctorate in 2023 and graduated with commendations for community service, earning the class Altruism Award and interprofessional honors. His clinical practice is informed by a passion for patient-centered care wherein he encourages his patients to take an active role in steering their treatment.

Jesse has a passion for healthy food, foraging, and storytelling. When he’s not in the clinic, he can be found dancing, juggling, or maybe, riding his unicycle.
