Trigger Finger Release

With a minor surgical procedure, the surgeon widens the tunnel the affected tendon passes through (or tendon sheath), allowing the tendon to move more freely. Trigger finger release can be performed through a small incision in the palm. Your surgeon may instead use a needle to perform the procedure.
